Hello WGA Ladies,

Well the season is upon us and we have a lot of fun in store for you. Our first official event will be Thursday, October 29th. We will be playing a Step Aside Scramble followed by our General Meeting and Luncheon. Eloise Greene and Lynn have put together a menu that you will enjoy. If you have signed up for the event, you will automatically be signed up for lunch. If you can’t stay for lunch, the kitchen will be happy to send you home with your lunch boxed.

Please visit our website www.missionvalleywga.com and enter your member number and last name to access the full roster of events. The Tournament Committee lead by Linda McCardel and Debi McGrath has been hard at work putting a great schedule of fun games together for all levels of golfers to enjoy. Make sure that you schedule your season accordingly to participate. You can sign up in the locker room or with the Pro Shop.

Speaking of the locker room, take some time to look over the bulletin board. Christiane Torchia has masterfully decorated the board with important notices and opportunities to fill your winter months. Lots of golf and fun awaits! We will be passing around sheets during the luncheon for you to join the birdies and chips competition and to designate your tees.

Lastly, I am still looking for a couple of ladies to chair the Member Guest Tournament. It has always been a signature event of ours and I am sure that we will want to host it this year. Please give this your full consideration.

I look forward to seeing you at our first event and luncheon.

Regards,

Karen Vogelsang
